Learn how to be a Radio DJ Presenter

August 19, 2013

West Hull Community Radio is running FREE 2 day training courses for young people interested in DJing and radio presenting. The courses will run in Darleys Youth and Arts Space, Porter St, Hull

Participants will:

–       Find out how radio works

–       Learn to put together a music programme

–       Train in interviewing and editing for broadcast

This is a taster course and learners will get to make their own short radio programme by the end of the second day.  There are volunteering opportunities once they have completed the course with many more learning opportunities.

Working to strict deadlines, working as part of a team and exercising creative thinking are all hidden learning opportunities.

The course is foremost for anyone over 18 years, unemployed and not in full-time training or education, but others who are interested in dipping their toe into the world of radio will also be accomodated.

For more information or to book a place please call Sharon on 07973 387144.
